Loctite 243 is a universal medium-strength thread locking agent.



This product secures screws, nuts, and pins against vibrations while sealing them at the same time. It is suitable for all metals, including passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized surfaces. It has proven tolerance to minor contamination with industrial oils, e.g., anti-corrosion and cutting oils.
