Key for winding mechanical clock

The key, also called a winding key, is designed for winding mechanical clocks. It allows for convenient winding of the mechanism's spring during daily use of the clock, as well as during service and renovation work in the watchmaker's workshop.

The product is available in various sizes, matched to the square winding shafts used in clock mechanisms. Before purchasing, measure the shaft with calipers between the flat walls and choose the closest size of the key.

Important: The correctly selected key should fit freely onto the shaft but should not have excessive play. A size that is too large may hinder winding and cause damage to the shaft.
