Key for winding mechanical clocks

The key, also known as a winding key, is designed for winding mechanical clocks. It allows for convenient winding of the mechanism's spring during daily use of the clock, as well as during service and restoration work in a watchmaker's workshop.

The product is available in various sizes, tailored to square winding spindles used in clock mechanisms. Before purchasing, measure the spindle with calipers between the flat walls and choose the closest size of the key.

Important: The correctly selected key should fit freely onto the spindle but should not have excessive play. A size that is too large may hinder winding and cause damage to the spindle.
